About the Session

Is generating receipts and acknowledgments taking up too much time? Are customization and manual entry burdensome to your staff? Find out how a small shop took on their bulky process and created a more streamlined method without losing personalization. Learn about the importance of identifying objectives, enlisting the right partners, communication, and testing, testing, testing. While the end result may not work for every organization, attendees will have a better understanding of ways to work outside the box in tackling frustrating business tasks.

Karen Delsman
Associate Director for Donor Relations & Stewardship
Willamette University

Karen Delsman is an Associate Director for Donor Relations & Stewardship at Willamette University in Salem, Oregon, with a focus on Fund Reporting. She has a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Southern Oregon State College (now University) and worked for many years in K-8 settings. Prior to her position at WU, she spent a decade stewarding donors at a large regional theatre. Off-campus, she can be found exploring the beauty of Oregon, visiting children and grandchildren throughout the Northwest, creating quilts, or knitting.
