About the Session

The University of South Florida's donor relations team has gone through a recent transformation. After making the decision to switch to digital reporting, they further transformed their approach to reimagining the structure of the reports to enhance the way they educate and delight their donors. This happened to align with a leadership transition which allowed the donor relations team to be highly responsive to the vision and goals of new leadership. Learn from the team about how to transition to digital reporting, how to engage leadership with the structure and content of reports, and how to take advantage of a digital platform to meet your goals.

Kathryn Swisher
Scholarship and Stewardship Officer
USF Foundation Scholarships & Donor Relations

Kathryn Swisher joined the University of South Florida’s (USF) Foundation Scholarship Office as the Scholarship and Stewardship Officer last year after serving students in the USF Office of Financial Aid for 8 years. Last year, Kathryn spearheaded, managed, and rebuilt the stewardship reporting process from the ground up—where she now collects and publishes the financial and impact information for each fund into their endowment report system. This updated process made it easier than ever for donors to access information related to their funds to ensure their donations continue to make a positive impact on students and programs at USF. A graduate of the University of Central Florida, Kathryn earned a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities with a minor in Women’s Studies. Kathryn enjoys coffee, trying to keep houseplants alive, and spending time with her husband Rob and their 2 cats.
