New Professionals Cohort – The Onboarding We All Wished We Had

Liz Lauersdorf, MPA and Marian Johnson

Wednesday, September 21
10:00 – 11:00 AM (MT)

About the Session

Specially curated for our newer donor relations and stewardship professionals (e.g. three years of experience or less), the ADRP New Professionals Cohort will provide this group of conference attendees with a unique and exceptional conference experience. This session will give you an opportunity to connect with others new to the field before launching into the rest of your conference experience. In addition, you will receive a robust introduction to donor relations and stewardship, including topics such as characteristics of successful stewardship professionals, where to find resources and best practices, how you fit into your organizational structure, tips for collaborating across your organization, and more! This is an opportunity facilitated by current ADRP conference committee and board members. It's the on-boarding to the profession that we all wish we'd received early in our careers! We hope you leave this experience inspired to continue your journey in this fulfilling profession and with a better understanding of what ADRP offers to future donor relations and stewardship leaders, like you!
